About AppleSprout Art
Origin Story
How AppleSprout Art started: My inspiration came from my sister-in-law’s baby shower. I wanted to offer her a unique gift and create a piece of art based on my nephew’s room theme – jungle animals. I enjoyed creating the art so much that I didn’t want to stop and here we are!
Animals have been one of my passions since I was a child and I was lucky enough to weave that passion into my career. After earning by bachelor’s degree in art education, I worked for many years as an instructor at the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium before transitioning to a veterinary clinic as their Director of Branding and Technology. Both jobs were immensely fulfilling and gifted me with even more love and knowledge of the animal world.

Carl is passionate about watching birds, sleep schedules, and having his humans near him. He mostly gets what he wants.

Owner/Operations
Shandon runs the business side of AppleSprout Art. He finds passion in business operations, systems and organization. Also being an artist himself, he understands the importance art brings to life.
